ABII Launches New, Improved Website
October 30, 2012 — New branding and reorganization of information are among the changes at www.abii.org, the newly redesigned website of the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII).
“We wanted to bring our website up-to-date with our organization’s progress since its initial launch in 2007,” says Ryan Roobian, CIIP, Healthcare Systems Engineer at Symantec and ABII’s marketing committee chair. “A new look and streamlined information for certification candidates are just the beginning. ABII also plans additional branding and outreach activities to enhance value for those currently certified and attract the interest of those who should be,” according to Roobian.
The main improvement for candidates and others interested in imaging informatics certification focuses key information into a consolidated “Certification Guide,” or handbook. The previous site had information spread out among various downloadable resources and static web pages.
“We’re proud of the advances we’ve made in the five years since ABII was founded,” notes Paul Nagy, Ph.D., CIIP, FSIIM, Director of Quality at Johns Hopkins University Department of Radiology and President of the ABII Board of Trustees. “Now our website has caught up and we’re focused on the future.”
